Lets have fun and be active. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate & Location\n\n\nJun 01\, 2024\, 6:30 AM – 1:10 PM \nEDUPLEX Sport\, 1180 Wesley Rd\, Queenswood\, Pretoria\, 0186\, South Africa \n\n\n\n\nAbout the event\n\n\nObstacle Challenge Run and Family Day is an opportunity for all\, big and small\, casual or elite to experience Obstacle Racing at its finest. \nThe world-class facility of EDUPLEX sport will cater to everyone from 4 years old to adult elite courses\, there will be a different course option for everyone to challenge themselves to their capacity. \nObstacle Racing is considered one of the most complete sports in the world\, in terms of developing balanced physical and mental resilience. \nStepping out of your comfort zone in the most healthy and balanced way possible. \nThe day will be hosting a 3km and 100m Elite national race series as part of the Obstacle Sports Federation of South Africa (OSFSA) series for 2024 \nAS WELL AS – Family Fun DAY \nHave a dedicated kids course for the little ones\, and an intermediate course for those wanting to have a taste of what OCR is like. Then a 3km Course for those wanting to challenge themselves. This will be a timed event with podiums and prize-giving. \nThe respective courses will open at different times\, allowing you to run as many laps as you can muster in the time allowed. \nWe will also allow entered athletes to attempt a longer/more challenging course for Free if they find their entered course too easy. \nThe day will end with a FREE open heat Family run. Where mom dad and everyone can run one 1km lap to finish off the day. This is always a highlight for all involved. \nJoin us for a fun day out for the whole family. \n#WeAreOCR \n_________________ \nPreliminary timeline ( Final timeline to be communicated ) \n6:30 to 7:30 am – Registration and collecting bands. Band Collection open up to 9:30am \n7:30 am – 7:45 am Track Walk \n8:00 am – 3km Elite start \n8:30 am – Kids Course Open \n9:00 am – 1km Challange Intermediate Course open \n9:30 am – 3km Challange Course open \n10:15 am – 100m Qualifying time open \n10:45 am – Semi finals runs 100m \n11:00 am –  Final Runs 100m \n11:15 am –  Family open Heat 1km Course. \nThese are the Age group categories for the OSGP Provincial series.
